I was wondering if you can print the rule lines out onto the printed
document. It just keeps printing my notes without the lines.

The rule lines are intended to assist with Tablet Pen input. There is no
way to print the rule or grid lines.

Even though Microsoft considers the rules and grids to be merely
guidelines for TabletPC users and their handwriting, it seems to me from
the volume of requests that they might consider this sort of thing for
the next release. I don't have the luxury of having a TabletPC system
(mainly because Dell hasn't chosen to make one, and I'm not thrilled
with the other offerings I've seen so far), so my notes are all typed
rather than hand-written, but I still would like to have my typed text
conform to the rule/grid lines on the background, if nothing more than
for the "coolness" factor.

This makes me angry. You should be able to print out what is shown on the
computer screen!

I completely agree. That should be a user option...

Can you accomplish the same goal by printing using underlined text?

HAHA nice hack.

Not exactly what they wanted.

If screen lines are important you could make a template with a
background image with lines on it ... and then your INK should match
up with the lines. Interestingly enough if you took a screen grab of
the lines you like in OneNote you could paste this screen grab as a
background and use that.

Hell, that does not even qualify as a kludge...

MS needs to fix this one in the first service pack
