Does anybody know if it's possible in onenote to add variables like
%customer%?

My goal is to replace %customer% with the proper information and then, the
new data will be replaced in all the other pages...

example:
page1:
Dear %customer%,

"we would like to welcome you to..."
============================
page2:
"The %customer% wants me to help him with..."
===============================

thanks in advance!

Dani,

What you are requesting is not an inherent capability of OneNote. However,
it is the basis for what we are doing with our OneNote Toolkits.

We typically use an Access database that includes the "%customer%" data and
pass that to OneNote via the Simple Importer API. We can then take
advantage of power, capabilities and features of OneNote.

You can find samples of this process in use for doctors, lawyers, teachers,
nurses and real estate brokers at the website in my sig.

Hope this helps,

Fritz

Thanks much for your response. However this is not I want to implement here.

I do not want to import data from Access or any other application. I just
want to replace in all my templates where (example!!) "customername" exists
with "John Doe".. is this possible???

Thanks!!
Daniel.

Daniel,

Unfortunately, a "Find" exists, (for both text and ink) but I don't see a
"Replace".
