Can't Insert File as Printout

I just started college and want to bring my laptop to class and use OneNote
to write notes on my professor's Powerpoint presentations. I read that the
best way to do this is to Insert a file as a printout.
However, the option to select "Insert >> Files as Printouts" is grayed out
and when I drag an office file into OneNote, it doesn't show the option to
insert as a printout. Help!

Could it be that you are running with a 64-bit OS??

If so: The OneNote printer does not work with 64-bit.
For a solution pls see:

I am!
In case it matters I'm on an HP Touchsmart tx2z with Windows Vista Home
Premium 64-bit.
What does that mean for my ability to insert files as printouts?

Home Premium 64-bit.
What does that mean for my ability to insert files as printouts?
This means - as I said - that the standard "Send to OneNote"-printer is
not operable. And if the printer does not work, printouts can not be
inserted.

To fix the problem pls read the article referenced in my last posting
and download and install the "XPS2OneNote 64 bit OneNote print driver"
referenced there.

I had a different problem with the fix. Before it finishes the installation
there is a message that the program was interrupted and I should download and
install the program again. Re-installing brought up the same error and the
program did not install.
Thanks for any help

Would you pls open a new thread?
Doing so pls let us know which OS you are using and which error-messages
