Post by SussexDodossWent into OneNote this morning. All my notebooks have disappeared and I just
have loads of Section Groups and Sections. Tried creating new Notebooks to
copy these Sections into but got an error message saying 'Notebook already
exists'. Checked 'My Documents' and yes the Notebooks are there with the
correct file path. How do I get my Notebooks back into OneNote so they are
displayed properly?
What about re-opening the notebooks the normal way using File, Open,
Notebook ... ?

Hi Bernd,
Just did this in the File->Open in OneNote. The dialogue box appeared ok
with all the Notebooks I used to be able to see in OneNote, but they are all
in C:My Documents. However, they are still showing as Section Groups and
Sections in OneNote itself. Sorry if I'm being dense but how do I get them
back into OneNote itself? Thanks for your help.
I was reorganizing pages in a notebook section, and at the bottom saw this Google moniker and icon. I clicked it and all but the current section I was in disappeared.
Not knowing what juts happen, I wen to another notebook and just click the Google moniker again - once again, all sections except the one i was in disappeared.
Initially I wondered if there was some sort of integration with Google I had never heard of - but could find nothing.
WHen I was in an empty section, I'd select File-->Open and to the right was a list of my notebooks, but at the top of that list were the 2 that I empted with today's date / time stamp. I opened each in the appropriate section and all sections came back into that notebook --- i confirmed by checking most recent changes and they were there.
